The Black Heart Procession are back... What a bunch of goths they are.... I'd never really thought about it til now but it's proper goth gear. I'm from Leeds. We invented goth..... so we know what all about goth..... alright. They're goths OK! The music on this opener really reminds me of a track from the last Blonde Redhead album albeit with Pall Jenkins being all Tim Burton all over it. The big goth.... I like this a lot mind you despite it being all gothy everywhere. It also features Jimmy Lavelle (Tristeza, Album Leaf) on a variety of instruments including a reverb tank whatever the cock one of those is. You know you're in for a quality listen with a Black Heart Procession album. I doubt they'll win over any new fans with this one but they'll keep their hoards of bat eating fans happy with this fun number.Be the first to review this record.
