Wheels Of Anterion by Team Doyobi

I've been waiting in anticipation for something new to drop from Team Doyobi after the smashing 'Choose Your Own Adventure' LP and the time is now. The new 7" has landed and the sleeve art is fantastic. An Illustration of the two sonic explorers on some other planet transmitting their futuristic tones to the universe. Both 'Wheels Of Anterion' and the flip '87c5875ucpro' are stunning. This pair are really underrated and I cant help but feel a lot of their work is overlooked. This music is all over the place and not instantly accessible but their is a groove underneath the cacophony and sounds of machines malfunctioning and computers having crashing fits. Plenty of crunches, squeaks, clatters and distorted analogue and digital mentalism. Imagine the sound of a commodore Amiga running an oldskool tracker program put through a chaotic grungeliser then shattered into a million tiny pieces then blasted through an enormous sonic raygun and reassembled into your ears via a speaker chip implanted in your brain. This is the best thing I've heard in a while and I doubt I'll hear anything today that touches its genius but my ears are open. Proper next level business and quite possibly the future of electronic music. Super fresh 7" only on Skam. Well Fookin tasty.
