So Scatter have had an album out on Pickled Egg and they have a new album out now on Blank Tapes. It comes on a CD and not a blank tape before you get all stupid on my ass. The label is called Blank Tapes..... This is well psyched out gear...... choruses of whining Scots over all manner of flute influenced clatters and bangs. This sounds like some sort of scary psyche folk music that you and your family will be murdered to if you don't all buy the same sprig of heather and peg from the evil old woman in the corner of the pub you don't want to be sat in. That aside this is not an easy listen by any stretch of the imagination but give it enough time and you'll be digging it in no time. If you've caught onto the more far out side of the folk movement and you like the stuff on Time Lag, Holy Mountain etc I think you'll be liking this sucker....Be the first to review this record.
