We have loads of Spare Snare singles downstairs. Loadz of em. Thought the shambling Scots had done & gone split up but ooopsie Maisie, they're back with a sublime slice of wobbly lo-fi folk. Not like Tunng though. This is downtrodden genius pop flecked with a sing song optimism.. The flip sounds like Octagon Man fed through a 4 track, a click track stunted electro beat clattering underneath a quirky, yearning strumathon worthy of some kind of award. Probably the only reward this forgotten bunch will get this week is a place in my heart. And my record collection. This hand stamped red vinyl 7" is really limited but hey, they're not from London so what do you guys care?Be the first to review this record. Best reviewer each month gets £10 off their next order!
