Yet more psychedelic tripped out crazy mental weird madness now on Kranky with the second album from Ben Vida AKA Bird Show. There's lots of metallic percussion and bells going off all over the place here creating a meditative / trance type vibe. Far out. 'Seeds' has him playing acoustic guitar at 300mph which is incredible. There's prepared piano and synth experimentalism on here too. This is like the soundtrack to some bizarre ceremony or ritual. Totally fresh experimental home recordings that sounds like nothing else in this week. Investigate and you will be enlightened. CD onlyBe the first to review this record.
