Sticking with the local crew, we have the new single from Nightmares On Wax on limited red erm..... wax. What you get here are two 70's funk inspired downbeat hip-hop cuts. This doesn't come close to the greatness that was 'Carboot Soul' but it's cool that this guy keeps evolving with his sound and they way he takes an old sample and creates something new with it is admirable. The hip-hop break in 'Sweeter' is mighty phat and quite suitable for the art of busting moves. Ltd 7" on WarpBe the first to review this record.
