 This record left our Brian feeling ecstatic.
Field Music could piss in a bucket, record it, get the drummer from The
Kooks to remix it drunk whilst shagging a groupie then get some avant garde
vinyl "displacer" to mangle the finished result into a mush of twatted
brainyap & I'd still think it were the work 'o some kind o' bloomin' genius.
Perfect, harmonically astute, distinctive, soulful, quirky & totally
musically innovative (See: "unconsciously retro-futurist") to the point
they are so now.....everyone else is stuck just in the bloody past
you see. It all dates in 3 weeks does all that trendy crap. Stick yer Justice
mixes & all that glitzy, lazy polished sub electro/house/disco toss with no depth up
yer coke addled bung holes. Set of saps. Field Music. Always
single of the week, just BECAUSE! (It's called "You're Not Supposed
To" BTW....CDs/7" on Memphis Industries
