Jody Wildgoose - Afterlife

Afterlife by Jody Wildgoose

I landed the Jody Wildgoose album. They're one of those Sheffield bands that's seemingly got swept up in the Arctic Donkeys braying fit that's got oblivious A&R men ritually prolapsing in delight at the merest hint of a South Yorks tramp farting. Actually they're not bad really. Sort of lazy, ramshackle fuzzy 70's pop psych with big nods to SFA, Pulp & Dave Bowie, the Cockney chameleon. BTW, I've got a copy of his 'Tonight' album to give away to anyone that'll send me a photo of themselves. The funniest looking person wins the LP, post paid! Oh sorry! Hi-jacked that review a tad ! Yeah buy this if you fancy a bit of a bouncy off-the-wall pub rock laugh with all the heart & soul of the steel city! CD only on etch-a-Sketchbook.
