Rating: happy This record left our Phil feeling happy.

Kimya Dawson is a quirky cheeky one with her warm brand of homespun quirk-o-pop. I'm starting to warm to the Moldy Peaches now (a little too late possibly) and I'm coming to the conclusion that she's actually quite a talented little bunny. We have her split 7" in with Matty Pop Chart. Her track is poporama ala Joni Mitchell and Sesame Street (at one point she mentions Bert & Ernie...) The flip (by Matty Pop Chart) crosses a similar path of lo fi NY quirky folk pop. All very charming I'm sure.
