Epic 45
Drakelow EP
A Norman Records recommendation (27th November 2006)

This record left our Phil feeling ecstatic.
Something good now. In fact it's so good it makes up for the pap I've had to endure to get this far... The new Epic 45 EP is fantastico indeedy. Eight tracks of sheer ambient bliss which are so soothing it's like someone pouring chocolate in your ears. Though the conversation the boys are having about collapsing fannies (really...) is somewhat putting me off. Musically it's influences (to me) appear to be Aphex Selected Ambient Works Vol 2 crossed with Harold Budd. It's a bit of a departure from their last EP which was also fantastic but it's as good.... if not better. Show them some re-cocking-spect cos they've earned it with this beauty. One of just 1000 copies....

This record left Paul Stokes feeling happy.
If you are into electronic music this is a real gem. Totally atmospheric, just superb. To those of us who have been involved with the site to which it relates it is a perfect musical picture of the place.
You really should re-release it.
