In fact it's so good it makes up for the pap I've had to endure to get this far... The new Epic 45 EP is fantastico indeedy. Eight tracks of sheer ambient bliss which are so soothing it's like someone pouring chocolate in your ears. Though the conversation the boys are having about collapsing fannies (really...) is somewhat putting me off. Musically it's influences (to me) appear to be Aphex Selected Ambient Works Vol 2 crossed with Harold Budd. It's a bit of a departure from their last EP which was also fantastic but it's as good.... if not better. Show them some re-cocking-spect cos they've earned it with this beauty. One of just 1000 copies....

About the humble CD single:

Another digital format and even though they can hold 80 minutes of information (like a CD album would) record companies only fill up a small portion of the disc. Sometimes only 1 or 2 tracks on there totalling 5 minutes or so. It's like going to a restaurant and getting a plate of food with 2 green beans on and wondering where the rest of your meal is. Sometimes they're lovingly packaged though and when the music is good then you're into a winner. Also you get videos on there sometimes which you can watch on your computer. That is excellent.
