Hot trendy pups The Young Knives we have been championing here recently & we have discovered another scarce gem, a split CD single on a tiny Oxford indie from last year with Smilex whoever the flip they may be. t'Knives contribute two of their psychotic ramble jangle anthems unavailable elsewhere. The House Of Lords sounds like he's murdering a particularly hostile giant parrot on 'The Decision' whilst 'Sex For Sale' is another strange random slice of jerky mayhem. Smilex sound a wee bit generic with some yankophile whisper/scream dynamics & a passable couple of noisy efforts under their belts.Be the first to review this record.
