The first thing I notice about this next release is that the sleeve and label artwork have an image of a man with a mouth that's actually a zip. Just like Rainbow's zippy. The second thing I notice is its numbered out of 500 copies and it's the first in a series of split 10"'s called 'Keep Mother' on the Fire label. This is by Virgin Passages and ... Bender. The Virgin Passages track is fairly depressing acoustic guitar, piano and whiny vocals. Bender feature James Johnston who used to be in Gallon Drunk. I've heard too much moaning today. Some one needs to zip them shut. This is like the kind of music a bunch of Manic depressive alcoholics would make after too much ale and a wheelie bin full of mogadons. Oh, I'm told each 10" in this series comes with a token and if you collect them all you can send off and get a box to house them in (or yourself ala coffin). Classy....Be the first to review this record. Best reviewer each month gets £10 off their next order!
