Cherubs have a new single out (CD only for some strange reason) and it's new tracks which haven't been out before. There's a lot of this dark brooding Interpol, Editors (ie Joy Division obsessed) indie rock out there and Cherubs fall smack bang in this category. I did catch them live and I enjoyed them much more than I expected to... ie it all made more sense.... Well this new single is probably the best thing I've heard by them so far... There's hints of David Bowie in the vocals and to me it's just like Editors. If you like them I can't see how on earth you wouldn't like this. I guess it's like choosing between supermarkets own or branded goods.Be the first to review this record. Best reviewer each month gets £10 off their next order!
