Chris Brokaw has a new CD out on Gremlin tupping Mogwai's label. He used to play in Codeine, Come and Pullman to name a few.... This is his 3rd proper solo album (I think). I've never really paid much attention to his solo stuff so this is all new to me. It's an upbeat country rock album at heart but the songwriting sounds pretty strong and it all sounds quite earnest. It's got a nice fluidity to it and the guitars are really quite lovely. Probably not my sort of thing but I think given enough plays I think it could certainly grow.Be the first to review this record. Best reviewer each month gets £10 off their next order!
