12" comp in on the rather good Underscan label from Germany. Seemingly an intelligent techno/breaks/IDM imprint, we have here varied 5 acts flashing their electronic wares. Bogger comes first with a skittering, clattering slice of bendy, fluid techno that sounds like It's talking to you in Clangers speak. There's definitely a Spezial Materials vibe to this with a bit of lovers acid just burbling under the surface. Dalezy is the sound of Nik Kershaw being raped by his own bank of Roland keyboards who've somehow become self-aware. Fats sez Printed Circuit. Frank Bretschneider brings forth a bit of nice loping chill out to finish S1. Everest mount S2 with some jittery atmospheric electro-tech that they've nicked from under Vector Lovers mattress B4 the whole thing collapses under the weight of Menu:Exit's glitchy dubbed out Pole-isms. A well rounded comp indeed! This is volume 3....Be the first to review this record. Best reviewer each month gets £10 off their next order!
