Rating: happy This record left our Phil feeling happy.

Idiot Pilot confuse the balls off me. It's such a strange sound..... They utilise the clever electronics that Radiohead do and have a very similar feel but then it goes all heavy and some nugget starts shrieking everywhere which is funny at first but wade through an album and the novelty wares off fast quick like (long sentence I know...). So big new metal bits with shrieky thrash style vocals with hints of Muse and a lot of Radiohead. To be honest it's all very wrong but the redeeming factor is the fact song writing is really good. They continue to confuse the balls off me mind you, BUT I'm interested in this band cos it's a new sound even though it's not very 'Norman Records'. It's still wrong mind you.
