Ok you lot. Confession time. How many of you sad 30-40 something indie kids out there (I'm one of you....) fantasized about doing things with Amelia Fletcher at some point or another in their lives. This includes eating cucumber sandwiches, going to village fetes & holding hands whilst blushing. No need to lower the tone all the time. Well, her gazillionth band, Tender Trap have a new single out but I've erm.....lost the sleeve so can't immediately recall what the title is. She still sounds like the hiccupping, breathless cross between Louise Weiner, an angel & queenie from Blackadder & the music is just quality wordly wise classic indie of the variety her & her lucky male cohorts always produce. If you dug T. Gosh, Heavenly or Marine Research then you'll be more than satisfied with the 'Language Lessons' EP on Matinee. CD only as she's too small to carry vinyl these days.Be the first to review this record. Best reviewer each month gets £10 off their next order!
