If a band gets really hyped it always makes me want to hate them. So I've read pages and pages about The Dears and how they are here to save the world. This is the first time I've heard them and the first song sounds remarkably like a downbeat Blur. In the 5 seconds I have to flick through this I'm never going to be able to get an accurate description but it sounds like it could be good. It sounds like grand rock with big chugging guitars. Having perfected his Damon Albarn impersonation on the first song the singer transforms in Morrissey on the third song! Amazing. On Bella Union.Be the first to review this record.
