Next (again I'm gonna whip through these...we're still short of our Arctic Monkeys words quota for this week) is a crazy record by Deuce. The songs have madcap titles like 'Chinese Boy wants to play in a Reggae Band'. The Music is bonkers computer generated chaos. A mixture of sentimental, cute melodies with cybernoise, punk energy with hip-hop like rhythms, lo-fi with hi-fi, distorted quasi-rapped songs with white-noise and the cavalcades of crazy breakbeats. I stole that last bit from their website...shit WE'RE TURNING INTO ROUGH TRADE. But seriously folks, that describes it perfectly. Recommended.Be the first to review this record.
