Maybe a tad disappointing, especially given the relatively lengthy gap between this and the last Brian Jonestown Massacre release. But then Anton Newcombe has a habit of of writing songs that creep up on you (after you've written them off) before smacking you round the head with their pure genius, and I wouldn't be at all surprised if I find myself playing this on repeat ad nauseam for weeks in a year's time.
