Pioneers - Out Of Here

Sometimes I really can't be arsed reviewing indie records. There's too many of them that are woefully average. Most of the tunes I buy these days are predominantly electronic. That's not cos I've gone off guitars. Perish the thought! I've never listened to Pixies as much in my life. The thrill hasn't gone of hearing an original & startling rock band. There's just an inadequate handful coming through with the goods. I'm a hard man to please.....So please forgive me, Pioneers, when I dis your debut CD 'Out Of Here' for being derivative sixth form tosh in debt to Coldplay & every two bit middle class stadium epic guitar tosser that ever strapped on a guitar. It's not a dreadful song by any stretch. Just been done a million times better by even the likes of Haven for gods sake.
