I'm Being Good have been treading the boards for a while now. If ever a Trumans Water revival were afoot then these masters of wonked-out angular scratch & disturb rock are the spearheaders of such a movement. This is the freeform & psychotic sound of tortured fretboards & unhinged lyrics. Where Pavement get molested by Beefheart whilst Sonic Youth do the foxtrot with Thinking Fellers & NZ bendy pop classicists 3Ds. 9 tracks of fuzzy, detuned guitars, Ligament heavy feedback, Quickspace style wobbly vox, thuggish rolling drums & a most complimentary & insistent bass. Can you tell I dig this compulsive mess of a CD? It's called 'Family Snaps' & should have your name on it, noise boys 'n gals. Through the fine Jonson Family.....Be the first to review this record.
