Talking of Mr. Funk himself, we have a new album by the Canadian ponce. His 12th album of gibbering nutterdom is snappily entitled 'Rossz Csillag Allat Született'& is "his most mature work yet" (they say that about everything he does) Apparently this was "Inspired by a trip to Hungary while on European tour, where Aaron found himself on the Királyi Palota (Budapest's Royal Palace) imagining himself as a pigeon" (fuck me, what a tosser) So yeah, It's got shit loads of lovely ear caressing neo-classical strings on but unfortunately exactly the same hyper-speed, too fast heard-it-all-a-million-bloody-times breakcore beats all over just about every tune. I think about 3 tunes really work well (It would have been a really fine EP) but over 11 tracks, I just got bored.Be the first to review this record.
