The Strange Sounds Orchestra - Strange Sense of Liberty

Strange Sense of Liberty by The Strange Sounds Orchestra

4...according to our on Mon 27 Nov, 2006.

The other label we love to love here @ the towers is lil' ol' Static Caravan. It's a big victory for common sense & a genuine love of music that imprints like this are still alive & succeeding in this horrid world of here today, gone tomorrow fame chasing muppets in hopelessly derivative poseur bands that make me ill. Stop buying the crap to sell on E-bay & listen to us. We know who you are you turncoats.....GRRRRRR! Anyhoo, onto the new 7" on SC. The Strange Sounds Orchestra formed primarily to soundtrack a book, funnily enough entitled 'Strange Sounds'. Switching from conventional guitars & drums to more obscure instruments such as melodicas, theremins, test oscillators & dulcimers, this is pop music with the emphasis on ease, not cheese. Familiar, yet alien all the same.
