This record left our Brian feeling happy.
One of my worst crimes over the years has been to continually slag disbanded Welsh Chicago-grumble obsessives McLusky off at every opportunity. It was the singers voice. A grating bucket of yelping shit that ruined any thrilling potential the grindingly powerful & muscular music had to reduce my spine to bug dust. By the sound of it, the same chap has returned to his previous band to flail around tunelessly some more, much to my disdain. The single was a red herring as the nails down the blackboard had been trimmed for short term safety but the guttural howling continues apace on Shooting At Unarmed Men's otherwise excellent new CD thru Too Pure. If you dug McLusky then you'll have to go & buy this won't you. Just don't invite me round after the pub (only kidding!!!!)
