This record left our Brian feeling ecstatic.

The days of Sarah Records et al are long gone. Indie is such a commodity now. Thing is, it seems that now everyone is content embracing  this kind of post punk new wave mod garage that's being rehashed every week, only to reveal some spindly bunch of mullet sporting chancers badly ripping off The Only Chameleons & Psychedelic Jam Ones! However, REALindie (tm) is forcing open the doors of the fashion zeitgeist to blow bubbles in the face of po-faced mediocrity. That's why Fantastic Plastic have collected the stumbling day-glo wonderment of Bearsuit's joyous 7" waxings & compiled 'em on one classic sounding CD. It all makes utter sense. If Envelopes struck me as a bit off their trollies with inspired glee then Bearsuit are their Brit counterparts. Too hat stand to be truly twee, you could imagine them putting on an indie night that owes as much affection to Napalm death as Talulah Gosh, such is the rampant wide eyed skewed optimism of these vibrant whirlwinds of hairslide rock. Brill!
