More oddness, this time from DJ Ordeal & VB12. We have an LP in called Usher/ Guitango/ Usherette which is a curious beast indeed. It's based on quotes from Edgar Allen Poe's 'The Fall of The House Of Usher' and it's an imaginary horror soundtrack taking in 50's jazz and cheese and mixing it up with some electronic horror sounds. Overall it's reasonably minimal and sparse sounding but worth a punt if you're feeling adventurous and fancy something a bit dark like.DJ Ordeal/vb12, Usher/Usherette (Sparticus Stargazer) 12" A touch of blues is played by half a dozen mechanical pianists whose batteries are running out and there's a big crowd, a very big crowd. You swim through them and down, deeper into ocean until the seabed itself rises up and it's really a flying saucer; the chattering gnomes inside don't mind dropping you off as they're going your way and soon you're back in your comfy old chair again.
