Something we've been enjoying for a while is the Desormais (Mitchell Akiyama and Joshua Treble) CD on Intr Version which is rather lovely. We think this will appeal to you folks out there who like the whole Laptop folk thing. Lots of lovely acoustic guitars over nice shuffling beats with some electronics chucked over which aren't superfluous at all and unlike a lot of things they actually add to the music. There's an over riding feeling that the folks behind this have been listening to Hood and if you listen to track 5 (One of Many Wolves) it sounds exactly like Hood.
