What we say This record left our Clint feeling happy. Listening to At The Close Of Every Day doesn't help my suicidal tendencies. As you know their last album was put out by our very own Jonathon Whiskey imprint and was one of the finest doom fest's every to sidle its way lethargically onto record. Here's their new one and I must say lads  11 out of 10 for packaging. This thing just looks wonderful. It's sort of like a calendar  with those little round things and a piece of string. The music is much more upbeat than last time more in a post rock vein rather than a post breakdown but there's lots of vocals and choruses that could be described as rousing. Maybe a bit on the obviously commercial side but good tunes. On Volkoren.

About the humble CD:

The CD is essentially a small portable face mirror which has an extra feature of being able to play music (through a thing known as a CD player). These CD's are a modern invention hence them being all shiny and digital. They can hold about 80 minutes of music and apparently are indestructible as you can smear jam on them and they still play (not as nourishing as toast mind you but when you're hungry.....). They sound crystal clear and are tiny convenient things. They lack the charm and warmth of their old analogue counterparts but their portability, convenience and ease of being duplicated make them a perfect thing of a thing for most folks. Jewel cases are the worst thing ever though and they really need to stop.
