Xiu Xiu & Larsen have collaborated and released a CD under the name of XXL. Which I always thought was a size of garment for fat people but it's also the catchy name of a band. Woo. Larsen (not Orsen... I couldn't get Mork out of my head either...) are an Italian cult sensation apparently and Xiu Xiu are a US skewed avant pop band from all accounts. The key word here is melancholy.... There's so much melancholy I could set up a fruit and veg store.... I'd be minted.... It's quite orchestrated and pretty at times but the meloncauli (sic) is the key thing here... Noice...Be the first to review this record. Best reviewer each month gets £10 off their next order!
