I always like to hear a record of a man (or woman) manipulating their voice with loads of effects type things. Well thank goodness for Lichens which is the dude with the beard from 90 Day Men and (since Jan 2005) TV on the Radio. He's a talented feller. This CD comprises of lovely vocal loops (like some of those from TV on the Radio in fact) and adds beautiful folky guitar. Its an intoxicating brew and would send you off into a beautiful sleep should you listen to it before bedtime. On Kranky and highly recommended.Be the first to review this record.
