Piske Sits is a darn odd name for a band but their slice of wonderful, twirling indie hits all the right buttons, making me reminisce about the glory days of Ash (before metal), Pavement & their devotees Sammy & more recently that joyous guitar pop furrow that The Cribs have been ploughing. Bright 'n' breezy trad indie fayre with real spirit. The Old House are worthy of the shared privilege bringing a perky, shambolic thrash to the table with, once again, hints of Pavement, maybe a spot of The Research.
