Oh now Editors have gone & done the hopelessly predictable thang & re-issued 'Bullets', a sub Interpol/ Chameleons display of creased brow bombast & existential angst. With early U2's guitars. I really don't care about these bloody bands. They do nothing more than serve the current generation of hungry music consumers with a shiny new model of past glories with all the soul, tension & guts taken out & replaced with a heart of black & chrome nothingness. Stick with 'Munich' for it's undeniable hooks & be done with it. Ltd 7"/CDs.

About the humble CD single:

Another digital format and even though they can hold 80 minutes of information (like a CD album would) record companies only fill up a small portion of the disc. Sometimes only 1 or 2 tracks on there totalling 5 minutes or so. It's like going to a restaurant and getting a plate of food with 2 green beans on and wondering where the rest of your meal is. Sometimes they're lovingly packaged though and when the music is good then you're into a winner. Also you get videos on there sometimes which you can watch on your computer. That is excellent.
