Remember the "Port Rhombus" E.P. by Squarepusher? It came out about 8 years ago & had a rather snazzy designer Warp sleeve with a die-cut square instead of a circle? How fucking clever those designers republic folk are....Anyhoo, his new "Venus No.17" 12" has the same sleeve! What a blast from the past! It's like a long lost relative of that rather ace classic, & It's super too! Old skool bendy & frantic 'Pusher with a great acid mix on & an epic on the flip called "Tundra". If you thought "Ultravisitor" was a bit shit like this random bloke who left a quote on Discogs - "Buy this if you want to hear some classical guitar. Maybe I'm not into jazz enough but this seems like a step backwards for Tom. The Aliens Are Not Proud. Someone must have stolen his supply of Acid and replaced it with Wine or something" then you'll be delighted to know this is a mental top tits return to form! Vinyl only, of course on WAAAAARP!
