First up a fantastic record by Polmo Polpo on Intr Version. This is a sprawling, epic cover of Arthur Russell's 'Kiss Me Again'. It takes up both sides of the vinyl but that is no bad thing as its one of those tunes you never want to stop. Its the perfect marriage of disco and post rock with fantastic cello, insidious 4/4 beat and chinking guitar throughout. Lots of other things change under the mix so the track is constantly re-inventing itself. Fans of Arthur Russell, Chic, !!! A Certain Ratio take note. Superb.Be the first to review this record.
