I have nothing against American Analog Set - absolutely nothing. Their music is pleasant and gentle, trundles along nicely but (whilst at work especially) its dangerously soporific - I feel like I'm going to fall asleep at any moment. Their new album sounds just like their last one - a mixture of (mellow) Stereolab, Yo La Tengo, Bedhead, Kingsbury Manx textures with vocals that never reach above a whisper. Just don't listen to whilst driving or operating machinery. Perfect to fall asleep to on a lazy late summer afternoon........yawn.......sorry...on Morr. LP and CD.Be the first to review this record.
