Aoki Takamasa & Tujiko Noriko
28
A Norman Records recommendation (28th November 2006)

This record left our Phil feeling ecstatic.
I'll start with a couple of household names for you. Namely Aoki Takamasa and Tujiko Noriko who have a CD out on Fat Cat's splinter series. Which I guess is for their more whacked out experimental chuff. This is pretty easy on the ear though, and to me it sounds like a Japanese more experimental version of Mum. That is the Icelandic band from Iceland (not my mum, nor do I mean the frozen food chain fellow numpties). I'm extremely fond of this and it's an absolute joy of prettyness and clicky electronicky ethereal wonder. 100% utter cock on folks.... By the way if yr interested it's called 28 cos they're both 28. Bragging young bastards....
