Jason Forrest is a canny man. Some of his sonic experiments in deconstructed & re-spliced AOR splatter terror have left me with clenched teeth & a poorly mind. He's sure capable of a double-wrong or two on occasion. 'Lady Fantasy' E.P. is , however, initially a gentler beast. Opening with a sort of homage to Blade Runner or something, a slice Vangelis tinged drifting darkness, it all goes completely tits up on track 2. Imagine the sound of a fax machine being drop kicked into oblivion by V/VM whilst Rick Wakeman gets whipped to death in the background. It gets weirder still. The crazy Neu sampling track 4 is a treat & the whole shebang is over before you know what the hell your ears have been subjected to! One of the most entertaining records I've heard by the man. Sonig of Koln are responsible. The 12" has an extra track what the CD don't 'ave squire....Tracklisting:
