I once saw Whitehouse & they genuinely shook me up. Horrible people with a horrible creepy vibe who just make nihilistic noise to provoke. So they did their job well. Kevin Tomkins was once a member as was Paul Taylor & together they've been working on one thing or another since 1981. In the last 7 years they've created some excellent improvisational mood music that is genuinely thought provoking & subtle. Calm before the storm maybe? There's some damn interesting stuff here which falls into the fascinating end of the avant-garde spectrum. 21 tracks in all utilising Guitars, Piano, Samplers, E-bow, Violin, Ring modulator.
