Alfie are back. Remember them? One of the the big important questions (along the lines of what is the meaning of life, why is snot green, how does TV really work etc..) is how come Regal didn't drop Alfie after the major label debut didn't do right well. A mystery I'm sure you'll agree. Well they're back with a new single called Your Own Religion on 7" and CD and it's not a massive departure apart from some really awful guitars and someone has turned the drums up to 11 . Aside from that it sounds like an Alfie tune... ie catchy and it's heart is in folk. Am not entirely sure about the big bombastic production though. Still if you took the hideous shrieking guitars out this wouldn't be bad at all. If.....Be the first to review this record. Best reviewer each month gets £10 off their next order!
