Hot Hot Heat release a new single that screams PLEASE LIKE ME!!!! I have jerky guitars, kooky vocals, you don't have to concentrate too hard on me, I won't confuse you or make you think. In fact I think you'll love me. You can do the washing up to me. Its like Talking Heads produced by Simon Cowell. Fats shouts Dexys Midnight Runners and yes there's a bit of the Kevin Rowland yelp in the vocals but Dexy's were interesting and challenging. This is as safe and dull as a lifelong career in accounts (no offence to accountants - I've been there). The B side (on 7" and CD1) is an ELP remix which will hopefully scare off a few people from bland pop/rock and lead them to a lifelong journey into the vagaries of USA avant-hop.Be the first to review this record.
