Griiiiiiiiiiiiiime! Mike Paradinas & AFX love it! You lot don't! Why won't you be told! IDM doesn't have to be plinky plonky chin stroke bleep bloop chunter grumble all the time! Can't you handle bowel rupturing sub-bass & razor sharp breaks or summat? Are you scared of sounding like a chav in your car? EH? Those first 2 Vex'd 12"s were absolute doom laden electronic machetes for me. They're on the extra free disc of his debut CD on Planet Mule, 'Degenerate' & it's dark, intense stuff for sound systems that takes you primal places only Autechre could beg for these days, they've sooooo lost the plot. The VIP mixes of the early singles are superb. I heartily recommend this double disc set but take it a couple of tunes at a time for max enjoyment!
