Pantone Deference by I Had An Inkling

Single of the week now. I love, nee, absolutely adore meshed & interwoven trebly guitars & psychotic jerky post punk. Think Big Flame, A Witness & Josef K's more unhinged adventures being sick at a skronk rock squat dive. If this makes you wet yer drainpipes & ruffle your unruly black hair agitatedly with delight then you should be investing in this utterly ace 7" by I Had An Inkling. They come from the same vibrant area of creative energy in Leeds as Bilge Pump & Kill Yourself & totally rock on this debut single. So colliding hardcore jazz rhythms & berserk vocals are in vogue on side A, 'Pantone Deference' whilst some wobbly avant brass leads you into more tightly discordant psycho punk-funk math rock on 'Charlie's Laptop' Wonderful!
