Born To Kill - More Like A Cacophony

More Like A Cacophony by Born To Kill

The one thing you can always say about Rocket Racer is that the packaging is fantastic. Here is a new CD by Born to Kill and the sleeve is great with lots of bits to fold out. The music is excellent dark electronica that reminds us of some of the stuff on Toytronic. Minimal and aquaticy says Brian. Bits of Biosphere in there. Good Stuff.

Meshing experimental hip-hop and dark techno hybrids BTK has been making his mark in the underground electronic music scene for the last few years, bouncing between homes in San Diego, Las Vegas and now Oakland. Part of the BTK phenomena is dispersing sub-sonic bass treatments to stretch minds and rattle cement structures.

Mostly instrumental tracks here, oozing with heavy bass, fat beats and shadow creeping distorted synth lines. His MC style showcases him as an innovator in rhythm & rhyme with a conscious view towards politics and the environment instead of the over saturated and demeaning topics of women and money in most mainsteam hip hop. BTK offers a fresh sound and stance that compliments today's evolving world and forward thinking music fans. Features a bonus remix by labelmate Galena. For fans of Anticon and Beta-Bodega stylings. This limited edition CD comes in a screen printed custom fold out die-cut jacket. Hand numbered to just 666 copies worldwide!
