Clint here with a big fat grin on my face at the new Tom Vek single. He's a good 'un auld Tom. One of the few really original talents about these days and rather than go down the Interpol route and continually rip off fans with crap B sides and remixes - Tom puts genuinely great things on the B sides of his singles. The second track on the CD 'Things are here to Stay' is one of the best things I've heard him do. He is the only guy out there who sounds trendy and now but also writes good songs and has great production tricks for anal idiots like me to slaver over. So its kind of pop music with vocals, noises brought in from electronica and drum & bass. and songs you can hum in the bath. On Go Beat.Be the first to review this record.
