Lovely CD in by Monolake. Haunting retro future techno, a bit like early Orbital. Chamber like & hypnotic, fresh, vibrant & clean with some truly absorbing sounds in there. He's often quite minimal but only so his haunting soundscapes have space to breath. Polygon Cities has some nice DNA strands on the sleeve like you should always get on techno sleevesd. it just seems right somehow...according to pete jarvis.
Another great album not as ambient as other monolake albums i own,more beat driven but still creates an atmosphere.It`s got a sci fi, clean vibe minimal and spacious,Monolakes stuff will never date.Recommended.
