Can I just say I'm bloody sick of the majority of breakcore these days? It seems like every two bit idiot with a laptop is attempting to out jungle-ragga-gabber each other like some uber-nerd freakshow gone haywire. At least Shitmat is taking the piss...On the plus side there's some good stuff on this Zorg E.P. on Mewe Le Disque. Pretty frantic but interesting & dare I say it, innovative? All kinds of berserk, intense rhythm meshing, layered dark breaks & drum n bass patterns, playful interludes & quirky touches. Over the course of 6 diverse tracks It's a truly absorbing ride. If you like fannying around with pitches & speeds like I do, buy this, ignore the rpms n have a fiddle. Ultimately rewarding...Be the first to review this record.
