I used to love Joy Zipper. For a while I preferred them to eating and to those who know me will know that's no mean feat. I got the sustenance I needed for a healthy and balanced life from their debut LP for a good year or two. So imagine my distress when the 2nd album came out and I was utterly starving after I've heard it once. The word disappointment simply didn't do it justice. So we have the 1st fruits of the new album and my belly is rumbling... Well it starts off like hip Bond-o-theme lovely Sheryl Crow and then it goes all Joy Zipper on my ass. Albeit a little more pedestrian, bland, watered down, safe..... 7" only..... I think I'll get me some crisps....Be the first to review this record.
