Stafraenn Hakon
Eignast Jeppa

This record left our Phil feeling happy.
I'm sorry. It's not ignorance right, perhaps it could be stupidity or maybe I just haven't been taught correctly..... maybe there's a part of my brain missing? There's many potential reasons but I just can't spell Stafraenn Hakon right. I do too many of this letter, miss them out, not enough of another letter.... . So here we have their new album from big vastness of America called Eignast Jeppa (which I don't think I've spelt wrong...) This was released on a CDR in 2002 but now it's properly released with 2 bonus tracks thanks to those folks at Secret Eye. The word ethereal springs to mind... as does floaty and pretty..... For fans of the recent Amina CD and all other Icelandic mellow weirdos. Fricking marvellous.
