Perhaps deliberately I didn't notice the Chok Rock CD/12" (on Warp) lying in the box of new stuff we rifle through to pick our review choices. Perhaps I thought It looked a bit....well....shit. It's filtered French judder funk with added aroma. Annoying in that cut up soulful vox way that Super Collider had but then again this stuff makes me want to shoot the DJ. It then goes all slow mo bendy funktwat. Thank god I don't go near clubs that chuck this out of the PA. I'd hang myself in the black & chrome toilets. NEXT!!!!Be the first to review this record.
